Paula F. Lindsey

Ms. Lindsey holds a B.A. in finance and an M.B.A., both from Oklahoma State University. Ms. Lindsey is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) and member of the Houston Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers. She serves on the Board of the Houston Chapter as Business Valuation Discipline Chair and also serves on the Houston Chapter’s Energy Valuation Conference Committee.

Since joining Davis/Chambers in December 1999, Ms. Lindsey has performed over 900 valuations of various types of business entities and financial assets. Her primary practice areas include valuing interests in entities for gift and estate tax planning purposes as well as charitable donations, complex multi-tiered partnership structures, undivided interests in real estate, and promissory notes.

Ms. Lindsey began her career in Houston, Texas with two subsidiaries of W. R. Grace & Co., HOMCO International and Hughes Drilling Fluids. She developed analyses and business reviews in the areas of budget/planning, operations, materials management and acquisitions.

From 1986 to 1999, Ms. Lindsey consulted with management in a variety of industries. She acted as Interim Director of Finance for a financially troubled home health care company, evaluated acquisitions for both buyers and sellers and wrote investment memorandums for the consolidation of companies in the energy services, appliance parts and precision machining industries.
