Ms. Hoogeveen graduated Suma Cum Laude from the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University, Kyiv, Ukraine, with the combined BS and MS in Applied Economics. She also holds an MBA, Certificate in Financial Services Management and Certificate in Real Estate from the University of Houston. Her education at the Bauer College of Business included serving as Senior Portfolio Manager, Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst for the Cougar Investment Fund, a multi-million-dollar private investment fund. She formally presented Fund performance quarterly to Board of Managers and semi-annually to investors.
Ms. Hoogeveen joined Davis/Chambers as an Appraiser in 2023. Previously, she served as an Associate Appraiser at Cushman & Wakefield Valuation & Advisory, a global commercial real estate services firm. In this position, she conducted local and regional market analysis, site analysis, rent comparables, among other things, and contributed to the development of the financial analysis. Prior to that, Ms. Hoogeveen served as an Investment Analyst, Special Situations Credit, at Atlas Credit Partners, a private credit fund focused on secured direct lending and illiquid secondary credit opportunities in the middle market, where she performed research for multiple companies and industries, competitive analysis, financial statements analysis, capital structure analysis, and financial modeling.
Ms. Hoogeveen started her career in Kyiv, Ukraine, working as an associate adviser/interpreter on a number of international development projects funded by the USAID, US Treasury, World Bank and other donor organizations, in the areas of economic governance, fiscal and monetary policies. From 2009 until 2018, she was a licensed real estate professional in the state of Arizona before relocating to Texas.
